We install a vertical mid century slat wall feature in a new build. The wall is made up of strips of reclaimed cedar that we salvaged from a farm yard - rather than barn board. The cedar is around 100 years old and has been milled by Two Birds Furniture for this particular application which is a really interesting contrast to the modern home where it's being installed. We've noticed a trend that some of our customers are leaning towards warmer woods like cedar and fir as opposed to the traditional gray barn board.
