Need to decompress

Entrepreneurship refers to the concept of developing and managing a business venture in order to gain profit by taking several risks in the corporate world. Simply put, entrepreneurship is the willingness to start a new business. With that willingness comes certain character traits that every entrepreneur has within themselves.

Ego: a person’s sense of self-esteem or self-importance.

Drive: an innate, biologically determined urge to attain a goal or satisfy a need

Persistence: continuing firmly or obstinately in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition

OCD: having a tendency towards excessive orderliness, perfectionism, and great attention to detail.

Everyone reading this will say no I’m not like that! Let’s be honest, you are and you knew it when you started on the path to becoming an entrepreneur.

There are 4 types of entrepreneurship and we all fit within one of these categories based on our level drive that accompanies our lifestyle goals and our values.

  • Small Business Entrepreneurship: Small businesses are grocery stores, hairdressers, consultants, franchisees, storefronts, carpenters, plumbers, electricians etc.

  • Scalable Start-up Entrepreneurship.

  • Large Company Entrepreneurship.

  • Social Entrepreneurship.

Now, what comes with having an entrepreneurial characteristics is the dreaded word in the back of everyone’s mind, Burnout: the physical or mental collapse caused by overwork or stress. It happens to everyone eventually, we are not Marvel superheroes, and our bodies have a breaking point which is different for everyone.

We are going to hit on one simple concept that we believe will make all the difference in your lifestyle as an entrepreneur.

What do we mean by this? Create yourself an area in your home that is your Oasis or Zone that enables you to escape the day and re-group for the next. A place you can let go of the day’s energies, relax, workout, have a pint and be able to decompress! The Two Birds word of the day, DECOMPRESS.

Here are 5 spaces you can simply create with a small budget or large budget if you hire someone else to build yourself that decompression space! Obviously this is a Two Birds Blog so all our spaces are going to have a rustic flare!

  1. Home Gym – go home and punch the lights out, lift some weights and release the days aggression

  • Spa – a place to sweat out the toxins from the day and wash away the negative energy

  • Library/ Reading Nook – a place to educate yourself, get lost in a fantasy world with a cup of tea or coffee.

  • Greenhouse – a place to get your hands into the earth and grow some healthy food.

  • Caves- Men or Women – a place to sit back and have a glass of wine and watch your show or zone out for an hour or two after a day

Decompress: relieve or reduce the pressure on (something) or calm down and relax. In Our opinions having one of these spaces at your disposal within your home is how we as entrepreneurs  will be able to keep our standards of excellence and be on top our game each and every day to deliver the best experience to our end users… Our clients.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us on the following and stay tuned we will be rolling out our plans as we return to some kind of normalcy in the events that COVID-19 has brought upon us.
