One Year of Sawdust, Sweat, and Gratitude

ree

To our valued clients and supporters,

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since we took the reins of Two Birds Furniture. When we first stepped into this role, we knew we were inheriting something special — a brand with deep roots, loyal followers, and a reputation built on craftsmanship and heart. What we didn’t fully know was just how much we’d have to learn, and how much growth would come from that learning.

This first year has been filled with its fair share of challenges. From navigating the transition of ownership to finding our own rhythm, we made plenty of mistakes along the way — each one teaching us something new about the business, our craft, and ourselves. As we put our own identity on an already established brand, we worked to honour what Two Birds has always stood for while adding our own modern rustic touch.

One of the things we’re most proud of is that we’ve kept the same incredible team together through this transition — and even added one more full-time member to the crew. They’ve grown with us, adapting to every challenge and playing an integral role in shaping the new ways we build, finish, and deliver our work. Their dedication and craftsmanship have been the steady heartbeat behind every project that’s left our shop this year.

We dove deep into every aspect of how things are built — refining our processes, developing more efficient methods, and finding ways to deliver projects faster without compromising quality. Every beam, mantle, and custom piece has taught us something about patience, problem-solving, and pride in the details.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re thrilled to share a refreshed version of our website — a reflection of how far we’ve come and where we’re headed next. We invite you to take a look, explore our latest projects, and see the story we’re continuing to build together.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for your trust, your patience, and your support through this exciting first chapter. Here’s to year two — stronger, smarter, and more inspired than ever.

With gratitude,

James & Claire Hunter / Two Birds Furniture Inc
