Best of the barndoors countdown

Let the countdown begin!

Two Birds Furniture is wrapping up another season of hard work, dedication and the creation of numerous projects for our clients big and small.

It’s our award season and we’re starting off with bang as we countdown our Top 5 Barn Doors made during 2019.

We selected our Top 5 using different criteria from the number of visits to the installed photo, the number of likes it received and the overall look of the door based on our team’s eye, so without further adieu here’s our nominees and winner.

#5 Strawberry Fields Forever

Sideways Chevron Modern Red with Matte Black Hardware

I never thought I’d throw the colour of strawberry into a reclaimed wood barn door but it really looks like it at times doesn’t it?

Coming in at number five is our Modern Red Sideways Chevron. This door was installed in a basement media room for one of our clients. The texture is really an eye catcher that really makes their new space pop.

4. Elenor Rigby

Reclaimed Bridge Decking with custom hardware and chalkboard centre

This basement door was quite the adventure to get down the stairs out in Chestermere but our strapping strong crew got the job done and it looks stunning in this room conveniently next to the wine rack. The material was 3×12 reclaimed bridge decking for the finish along with custom hardware and with a chalkboard middle where The Ashley is. (Can you see the other Two Birds Work in the photo?)

# 3 Day Tripper

Natural Grey French Vintage Doors with matte black hardware

These closet doors take our vintage doors to a whole new level as going off of our White Vintage Doors (which was our number one door set in 2018) using our natural grey material to make this French Door one of a kind and a great place to hang your coats in during family gatherings.
